enable tracing ??

Hi :
I am a newbie with ecos and have a basic question. I an interested in tracking
down the kernel flow and want to enable tracing. But there seems to be some
missing pointer in my understanding of it and i am not abl e to find enough
documentation for it.
Fow ppl who have been doing this can you please let me know how I this can be
done.
