Re: Redboot console on ep93xx

Hi !

Hopfully you have some minutes for me :-)

I have now changed in hal_arm_arm9_ep93xx.cdl:

     cdl_option CYGNUM_HAL_VIRTUAL_VECTOR_CONSOLE_CHANNEL {
         display          "Diagnostic serial port"
	 active_if        CYGPRI_HAL_VIRTUAL_VECTOR_CONSOLE_CHANNEL_CONFIGURABLE
         flavor data
         legal_values     0 to CYGNUM_HAL_VIRTUAL_VECTOR_COMM_CHANNELS-1
	 #default_value    0
	 default_value    1 # from 0 to 1
         description      "
            The ep93xx board has three serial ports. This option
            chooses which port will be used for diagnostic output."
     }

    cdl_option CYGNUM_HAL_VIRTUAL_VECTOR_COMM_CHANNELS {
        display "Number of communication channels on the board"
        flavor       data
-->	calculated   3 # from 1 to 3
    }

in redboot.cdl:

      cdl_option CYGPKG_REDBOOT_ANY_CONSOLE {
            display "Allow RedBoot to use any I/O channel for its
console."
            flavor        bool
	    # default_value 1
-->	    default_value 0
            description   "
              If this option is enabled then RedBoot will attempt to use all
              defined serial I/O channels for its console device. Once input
              arrives at one of these channels then the console will use only
              that port."
        }

rebuilded , downloaded via BDI.

But the output is still on the first serial port ???
Maybe if have some dependencies wrong?

Thanks regards manfred
