RE: Automotive Applications

Hi,

I'm also aware of a fair number of design wins for SuperH both 'under the
hood' and in car.
Automotive is a market that Renesas (ex Hitachi) have had a lot of success
with and are very active in - witness the Comet Alliance
http://www.comet-alliance.com/.

Most of the larger automotive suppliers have a range of different projects
with different processor architectures and Oses so I'd re-iterate Alex's
comments about picking a platform based on your hardware requirements.

Regards
