It did work by changing the diagnostic channel to 2. Actually when I was
making the above change and enabling the gdb stub in build options, it
didnt work. But when just change the diagnostic channel without GDB stub,
I could perfectly boot the application directly from floppy.
Cant we have the gdb stub when booting the application??
Yes, but for that you have to change the debug channel too, not just the
console channel. It's right beside it in the configuration.
