On the other hand You can get it fully GPL-ed <licensing@gnu.org> and
put the code on the contributions page, not to the main tree. But doing
so would require the end users using the lwIP to make their applications
fully GPL-ed.
Anyhow You can leave the lwIP under the existing BSD license and put it
to the contributions page.
