- Subject: [ECOS] eCos THUMB support
Has anybody tried to get ecos compiled to work in THUMB mode ?
I've used gcc 3.0.4 + binutils 2.12, build for the arm-ecos-elf target.
I've got severe problems compiling some C++ files with this version of gcc, this seems to be simply impossible.
but all the redboot packages, including ethernet and flash can be built with thumb support.
Redboot have still 2 problems :
- connection to GDB is impossible (packages/hal/arm/arch/.../stub.c seems to don't work in THUMB mode)
- flash driver doesn't work, but this is "normal" since relocation with thumb support is difficult
Comments ?
