how to use keyboard?

Subject: [ECOS] how to use keyboard?

I am working on i386 target.As I know it can use kbd,
how to enactive it? I had tried to enactive it by
setting CYGNUM_HAL_VIRTUAL_VECTOR_CONSOLE_CHANNEL
user_value as 2 in ecc file.
How can I let my program receive kbd input and output
to target screen?
please give me answer in detail.
