Hi all,
Is anyone else/has anyone else worked with eCos on a PA-RISC core?
I remember some time ago I got some of 1.3.1 ported to the Winbond W90210,
but there were some severely annoying problems. I didn't archive any of
this (of course), since it was just for fun, and now I'm now having
troubles even getting a toolchain working. (I want to see if I can get eCos
working on the W90221 reference/eval board from Soyocom).
The manufacturer-supplied gcc I have for the core is DOS32-based and works
with 8.3 filenames only, so this time around I want to use the cygwin
hosted tools. Problem being that although I did this successfully last
time, I can't get the tools built this time!
Originally I had no problems building binutils 2.10.1 for hppa-elf under
cygwin 1.1.8. However, it now dies with a missing header file. Current
snapshots of gcc also say that the configuration hppa-elf is no longer
supported. I don't remember what version I had to go back to to get this
support earlier.
If someone else knows the magic runes (checkout dates for the toolchain
parts), it would really save me a lot of time experimenting :)

them accordingly."
