It might not be exactly relevant, but I have done a touch screen driver
for the UCB1300 chip on SA1110, available from
http://www.3glab.org/developer/ecos/
This driver demonstrates serialised communication between the SA and UCB
and the interface to the eCOS device system, and may be a useful starting
point for you.
