Here's a follow up on the problems with my board.
Thanks to Alfredo, I just realized that the EDB7111-2 board can either
carry a CL-PS7111 chip or an EP7211. Mine has a CL-PS7111 chip.
Has anyone ran eCos on the EDB7111-2 board specifically with the CL-PS7111
chip?
Is the gdb stub ecos-1.3.1/loaders/arm-eb7111/cl7111_gdb_module.bin for
the EDB7111-2 board with a CL-PS7111 chip? or is it for some older board
with the CL-PS7111 chip?
I know eCos runs on the EDB7111-2 with the EP7211 chip, and I guess it
also runs on some older "EB7111" board with the CL-PS7111 chip. I suspect
I'm in a situation with a "new" EDB7111-2 board and "old" CL-PS7111 chip.
So far, I've tried both arm-eb7111 and arm-edb7211 prebuilt gdb stubs
without success.
My apologies for the naming confusion, I just want to clarify the
situation with the board and chip versions to make sure this combination
actually works.
Thanks
