Errm, well, I erm, bypassed them in the makefiles so I don't have any
(tex)'info' files - but i386-elf-gcc.exe et al  work OK.

I have installed cygwin 1.1.1, eCos 1.3.1, and built bintuils for
arm-elf with no problems.

I am having the same problem under Windows NT 4.0 SP6:
