Yep.  I used the eCos 860 code (and I contributed the 860 FADS support).
The total setup is only a couple of pages of assembly, I suspect minor
tweaking would be required for the 821/740.  I think the 740 has BAT
registers.

Since the powerpc core is the same from the mpc860 to mpc821 and
generically to 740 the port should only involve the MMU, and
peripherals.

Is this correct? Or am I kidding myself.
