It would have saved time if you had mentioned the non-default
CYGNUM_KERNEL_SYNCH_MBOX_QUEUE_SIZE before!

You have forgotten to attach a program to this bug. Please use the bugzilla
interface to do so.

I can't imagine anything magical about the 10 value. But off the top of my head
you may wish to experiment with disabling compiler optimisation in case there's
something going wrong in the compiler.

However I would point out that in the program I had, if cyg_mbox_get was used
rather than tryget, I would _expect_ the program to lock up.
