This looked serious so I tried to reproduce it with the attached more complete
test case (please in future post full and generic test cases, not extracts).

And I couldn't reproduce it.

Then I was thinking that if g_mbox_get in your sources is meant to map to
cyg_mbox_get, rather than cyg_mbox_tryget, then it certainly wouldn't work. But
it wouldn't cause the problem as you described.

So please try the attached test case with your ecos build to see if the problem
still happens. If not, then modify it until you can reproduce it. I do not have
your hardware so please make it generic, thanks.
