Markup for design patterns

Hi all.
Does anyone have a suggestion on how I should markup the name of a
design pattern, e.g. "bridge", as described by the "Gang of Four"
(Gamma, Helm, Johnson & Vlissides)?
The closest I can get right now is <phrase
role="designpattern">bridge</phrase>, but I'm not quite satisfied with that.
Hmmm, maybe I should file this as an RFE?
