For the pictures, you can set the scaling factor and view the result.
If they look ok, then it's not the fault of the pictures.
I had problems with "TABLEs" and getting that error of overfull by a mere
1.99.. points. I have not managed to resolve it. Perhaps a tine .sgml
file with an offending table would be good to solve the problem...
For the issue of the ^@^@ characters in the jadetex .tex file, it appears
it's some kind of bug. As a workaround, once you generate the .tex file,
edit it and replace them with what you find on the next line (vague or
not..)
and run jadetex. It should work for now...
To see who is the offending element with those "Overfull /hbox" messages,
write down the line number indicated and look the .tex file.
You will see if it's a picture or something else.
