AFAIK there is - unfortunately - no other solution for creating Info out of DocBook XML.
My own experiences with docbook2X are not very promising - at least not for complex DocBook documents.
Iasked this last week. Steiner and I have been discussing this off list.
A google search brings up options. I haven't tried any yet, but I'm very interested in any exerience in using such tools?
