More subtle than that:
Using IDs longer than 26 characters breaks the filename on ISO9660
CDROMs, when viewing the chunked HTML from the CDROM, using a web
browser on a Win32 system.
Viewing chunked HTML from the same CDROM on a linux system, works (for
me), ie. the filenames aren't trashed.
