Very true and an even better recommendation.
Speaking of XML catalogs, this is not currently supported in Debian
but we're working out a system to do this with DTD and stylesheet
packages registering their catalogs centrally (xml-base pkg).
Discussion on this is taking place on debian-sgml list and I think
Ardo van Rangelrooij is doing the first pass of this using libxml2
from Gnome.
