Hello
I have the same problem with the portugues language.
I uncommented the line
portugues pt8hyph.tex
in
/tex/generic/config/language.dat
And now I got the .tex without warnings :)
$ jade -t tex -Vtex-backend -d
/usr/local/share/sgml/docbook/dsssl/modular/print/docbook.dsl -o chapter.tex
chapter.sgml
$
But..
I cant generate the .dvi and .pdf from the .tex
I got warnings about portugues language.
Here goes the command and the warnings, trying to build a .dvi output
$ tex "&jadetex" chapter.tex
This is TeX, Version 3.14159 (Web2C 7.3.1)
(chapter.tex

(/usr/local/share/texmf/tex/latex/psnfss/t1ptm.fd)

So...
I belive there is a file when I have to define the portugues language, or Im
doing something wrong :)
