I have run setup to install all pending updates.

I either double click the desktop icon or the start menu item that
setup creates.

I run cygcheck in the resultant mintty window.

One run with "strace -f cygcheck cygcheck.exe" displayed the expected
web site results in the middle of output. Here is a copy/paste from
the mintty window:

--- Process 3540, exception c0000005 at 000000018006FA50
--- Process 3540, exception c0000005 at 000000018006FA50
-Found 4 matches for cygcheck.exe
cygwin-1.7.30-1 - The UNIX emulation engine
cygwin-1.7.31-3 - The UNIX emulation engine
cygwin-debuginfo-1.7.30-1 - Debug information for The UNIX emulation engine
cygwin-debuginfo-1.7.31-3 - Debug information for The UNIX emulation engine
-- Process 3540, exception c0000005 at 000000018006FA50
--- Process 3540, exception c0000005 at 000000018006FA50

Most other runs show the same info as in the attached strace file, no
results from the web site. I realize that strace may not give a lot of
useful info as cygcheck is not a regular cygwin exe.
