Re: Vim segv'ing


I have noticed this problem as well.

- "vi /etc/hosts": segfaults
- "vi /c/Windows/system32/drivers/etc/hosts": works
- "cd $HOME; ln -s /c/Windows/system32/drivers/etc/hosts foo; vi foo": works

I get similar behavior with the other symlinks in /etc.

CYGWIN_NT-6.1-WOW64 box 1.7.9(0.237/5/3) 2011-03-29 10:10 i686 Cygwin
Windows 7 x64
