Ok, sounds like it's not really cygwin's fault... 

I'm just writing this last email because I wanted to thank you guys for
making Cygwin. I had most likely gone nuts by now trying to develop software
under Windows if it wouldn't exist. Having the UNIX tools like awk, sed and
all the other stuff under Windows is invaluable and I can just use all my
existing bash scripts instead of having to rewrite them for that cmd.exe
thingie. :)

Keep up the great work!
