I have updated cron to version 4.1-3
NEWS:
cron

/etc/crontab must (if it exists):
- be owned by System
- have the Administrators group
- have mode 640.

/usr/bin/cronlog: now looks up MAILTO. If it starts with "/", cronlog
writes the
log file there instead of to HOME/cron.log
/usr/bin/cronbug: new script to produce a report to be attached to mails
sent to
the Cygwin list.
Please direct all comments and questions to the cygwin list, mentioning
cron in
the Subject: line and ATTACHING the output of /usr/bin/cronbug.
