Re: Cygwin - Octave - fatal error - couldn't release memory, rebase




Hi all

Since some days, I'm trying to install octave on the cygwin installation.
But each time I'm trying to split only one row of data, a fatal error appears.
The same happens if I'm using "ls" under octave.

The same installation works fine at home on winXP SP1, with the same Octave-
Installation.
I tried everything like copy the home installation, new installation and new compiling of octave and so on...
nothing works...
I hope someone can help...

BTW, I also tried "rebase -s oct -v", but it didn't work..
Below a typical error message:
