I noticed that it's just in SQL*Plus where the arrow keys doesn't work as I 
want them to. I solved it by opening a shell under emacs on the remote end 
but it feels like a crude solution. But I guess this means it's not a cygwin 
issue and, as such, off-topic for this list.
