I have recently uploaded bash-3.0-10 and readline-5.0-4 for testing, and
would appreciate any feedback of user experience before making them the
current versions. To try the test versions, select the Exp radio button
in the package chooser.
Changes include:
+ readline has a new maintainer (me), since it is so closely tied to bash
+ readline provides a hook so that bash can override the environment,
necessary so that bash tilde expansion will work with dynamic linking
+ readline dlls are built with --enable-auto-image-base, to reduce the
need for rebasing them
+ bash correctly provides sh.1 man page
+ bash now recognizes c:\ as an absolute, not relative path, for the cd
builtin and for command execution
