Clear also forks until it runs out of resources, and there is nothing from strace. This also occurs when running the executables from ash or from Start->Run. The cygcheck output is attached. I've removed the environment variable and userid info as it contains the domain name and userid. I can send this to you directly if you wish. Cheers, Ollie
