Can't really say without more information. A backtrace might
help. I'd suggest debugging it a little to see if you can
figure out where it breaks and on which side of the fence.

The binaries (compiled with 1.3.22-1) from

crash.
The ones (previous version, compiled with 1.3.19-1) from
http://www.fredlwm.hpg.com.br/cygwin/lynx/download/old/ don't.
