compile error in types.h?

I am getting this compilation error in types.h:
-----------------------------
c++ -O2 -g -O0 -march=i586  -Wall -Wunused      -c -o RevPlayer.o
RevPlayer.cpp
In file included from /usr/include/cygwin/in.h:21,
                 from /usr/include/netinet/in.h:14,
                 from aeTCPServer.h:4,
                 from RevServer.h:4,
                 from RevPlayer.h:4,
                 from RevPlayer.cpp:1:
/usr/include/cygwin/types.h:120: syntax error before `;' token
-----------------------------

On line 120 in types.h is this:
#ifndef __int16_t_defined
#define __int16_t_defined
typedef __int16_t int16_t;
#endif

I can make it compile by including this at the top of types.h:
#include <sys/types.h>

, but I am not sure if this is the proper solution. If it is - whom to
contact? If not - how to fix it?

Thanks
