I was able to read about the /etc/passwd file
Username: Password: UID: GID: Info: Home: Shell
and i was able to find out a little about how cygwin does it.
account:password:UID:GID:GECOS:directory:shell
i could not figure out what i should put for the GECOS entry.
i tried looking in the docs and on google some more..
any suggestions?
thanks,
Brian

Read any /etc/passwd doc for the unix standard format. The Cygwin users
guide explains the Cygwin stuff packed into the gecos field.
