These headers overwrite the ones from the OpenGL package (in fact, symlinks
from the OpenGL package) provided for support of compilation with -mno-cygwin.
I think it is time to discuss in which package the OpenGL headers should
go. They could all (and I mean the ones for -mcygwin too) go into the
w32api package. I would then rename the OpenGL package "the GLUT package"
and I would concentrate on GLUT and its derivatives (GLUI, GLUIX).
There is no Cygwin OpenGL library; only an import .a for linking with M$
opengl32.dll , and that .a import library has never been in the OpenGL
package, only in the w32api one. For pure OpenGL, the OpenGL package only
provided the headers missing in the w32api package. Same thing for GLU.
Most of the stuff in the current OpenGL package is rather related to
libraries using OpenGL: GLUT, GLUI and GLUIX.
So, what do other cygwiners think about this matter?
