Hi Don,

If I had to guess as to why you got no responses before, I would say that
its probably because no one had an idea of why this happened to you.  I'll
make 4 suggestions if you want to follow up on this:

   1. Check if you can reproduce it in a set of simple steps.
   2. Make sure you're using the latest stuff.
   3. Try it with the latest snapshot.
   4. Include the output of cygcheck -s -r -v and the steps you took to 
      show this behavior in any further query to the list about this issue.
