For recovery of deleted files from, there are plenty of undelete tools
available - amongst the best is Norton Utilites. I have seen Win95 versions
of this floating around on coverdiscs, but unfortunately I don't know of any
free ones that work under NT/ with NTFS.
As far as storing deleted files goes, surely a better idea than moving to
/tmp would be to integrate with the recycle bin?
Good luck with the recovery,
Mark

Subject: Getting back deleted files
Hello,
I have accidently used the rm *.* command in cygwin1.1.0 on NT.
Is there any chance of getting back my work?
thanks,
Ben
