Hi,

I have been unable to find how to disable
the composite extension.
Can anyone tell me how this can be done.

from 'man Xserver'

âextension extensionName disables named extension. If an unknown extension name is specified, a list of accepted extension names is printed.

       +extension extensionName
enables named extension. If an unknown extension name is specified, a list of

So adding '-extension Composite' to the command line used to start the X server should do what you want.

Just out of curiosity: why do you want to disable the composite extension?
