Window title bars disappear when a window is closed

I've googled, read the manual, looked through the FAQ, and search the
mailing lists and I can't seem to find anything related to the
following: On a Windows XP machine with two monitors, doing

1) Start X with C:\cygwin\bin\run.exe -p /usr/X11R6/bin/ -p /usr/bin
bash --login -c startxwin.sh
2) Open a terminal
3) Make terminal full screen
4) Open 5 gvims
5) Cycle the focus through the gvim windows by clicking on the gvims in
the windows taskbar.
6) Close one of the gvims using the X button on the upper right corner
of its window.

Makes the Windows XP part of the gvims disappears (see attached
problem.bmp.bz2). Minimizing the terminal will make them come back.
Note that even though mrxvt is shown in the screen shot, the same thing
happens with the xterm packaged with cygwin. Does anyone know if this
is a configuration/user error on my part or is it a bug?

Thanks,

David Richardson
