Works fine for me with two.  Are the two monitors at different color
depths?  Are they being driven by the same vendor's video driver?


Ah, it would be something so obvious that I didn't think of it. It was the color depth. My reinstall set the color depth to the default which is 16-bit for the LCD but 32-bit for the monitor. Switching the LCD to 32-bit fixed the problem.
