This is the libtoolized version which installs into /usr/local/bin ,
../lib and ../include, so it will not override the freetype importlibs,
the headers.
The patch at this site includes all the autogenerated files (libtool,
Makefile.in et.al.) so it is large.
Probably it would be better to have it in /usr/X11R6 than in /usr/local
since the DLL names are not the same, one can install the version
included with Xfree86 and this one together. (Don't miss to change the
.la and .pc and the freetype-config files to point to the place you
install it).
