I've just been playing around with test78.
I have a UK keyboard on a toshiba laptop.
GB Pound symbol works fine in ;
* Netscape (forwarded via ssh from Solaris server)
* xedit (forwarded via ssh from Solaris server)
* xedit (local cygwin copy)
It doesn't work (seems to print has followed by carrige return);
* local rxvt
* local xterm
* remote xterm (ssh from Solaris box)
I also tried under Mandrake Linux 9 - xterm handles the GB pound symbol
correctly when run under gnome and blackbox window managers.

Hi,
Works for me with and without XF86Config file.
I'm gb (UK) pc105 wxpsp1.
My pound sign works OK for me (I can type 'em but I can't keep 'em!)
Thanks
