Just as a 'case'
I have used netscape on Cygwin Xfree - over a 33.6k MODEM :P
yes it was dog slow ... (300ms latency i think...)
but it Did work ...
ssh X compression helped ALOT - i managed to get my marks from a university
server which includes filling out 4-5 forms - a few dialog boxes poping up.
etc in only 2 and a half hours. *snicker*
if my university let people access their internal database servers by proxy
server - life would be sooo much better... :P
