RE: problems with extract.exe


Check you Cygwin installation. It does not look like a complete
installation?  Uname seems to be missing???  Are you sure you installed on a
binary mounted (UNIX mode) Cygwin disk?  

I am sure your Cygwin installation is bad.  Exctract.exe is not bad.
