xfree display problem

Hi!
Although xfree86 seems to work fine for xterm, I find
problems when I try to run xmgr remotely(w/ x11 port
fwding through ssh2). The xmgr window is corrupted, w/
lots of extra horizontal lines. The errors I get in
the xwin window are below, although they may not be
the cause of the problem.
error opening security policy file
/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/xserver/SecurityPolicy
Could not init font path element
/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/CID/, removing from li
st!
Anyone have a solution? Thanks!
