Hi,
today I've used XFree 4.1.0 the first time, I should better say I've tried
it.
I installed it on a WinNT-PC with a clean cygwin installation.
I launched the commands
> SET DISPLAY=127.0.0.1:0.0
> SET PATH=.;\cygwin\bin;\cygwin\usr\X11R6\bin;%PATH%
> XWin -screen 0 1280x1024x32 -query <server_ip> -from <client_ip>
Okay, the screen was put up for a remote CDE session. I could login.
But after some objects, especially dterms,
appeared, XWin crashed with following messages:
0 [main] XWin 262 handle_exceptions: Exception:
STATUS_ACCESS_VIOLATION
640 [main] XWin 262 open_stackdumpfile: Dumping stack trace to
XWin.exe.stackdump
Damned! I get the same error message when I don't use XDMCP launching the
original
'startwin.bat', although XWin doesn't crash.
Here an extract of the file 'twm.exe.stackdump':
Exception: STATUS_ACCESS_VIOLATION at eip=610292FC

Thanks for your help.
