Many users complain about missing vtwm.  Although vtwm is not part of
XFree86, but
it is now available under xc-4-binaries/4.0.3 as a separate archive.  The
etc-x11-vtwm.tar.bz2 contains
all the .* resources files and several /etc/X11 files for which X creates
symbolic links in /usr/X11R6/lib/X11
