Harold,
I did a quick try of this on NT 4.0 and got the following:
$ XWin -screen 0 1024x768x8 -whitepixel 255 -blackpixel 0
_XSERVTransmkdir: Owner of /tmp/.X11-unix should be set to root
error opening security policy file /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/xserver/SecurityPolicy
Fatal server error:
could not open default font 'fixed'
any ideas?
