I love the idea, and I want to help, but. . .

I can't even get the binaries to work.

I would love to help with the project, as I believe it is essential to
transition the business world to GNU/Linux, but I need to see something that
works before I can see where I could help out. So, here's a few suggestions
that might help generate interest in cygwin-xfree:

1) Please, update the FAQ. I hasn't been updated since November, 1999, and
it appears to have no relation to the current state of the project.
2) Update the project home page to reflect the correct way to get the
binaries to work. (The home page references a deprecated version of cygwin,
and the documentation on the DirectX X/Server is confusing and there isn't
much of it)
3) Reference the specific binary packages needed in the FAQ and on the home
page (currently, there are so many packages, that I can't figure out which
ones I really need)

I'm sure that you want this project to succeeded, so I think that a couple
hours of updating the resources to attract other programmers would be very
beneficial to the project, even more beneficial than a few hours of
programming, as an updated web site will allow the rest of us developers to
jump in.

Thank you for your time, and I'll be watching, and hoping for updates :)
