I did try MSVC, the proof is X11R6.4 and lessTif for Win32 (not Cygwin)
on my URL.  http://siddiqi.webjump.com.  As far as I know programmers
had played with Xfree86 code with MSVC and gave up after realizing the
amount of work needs to be done.  The Win32 support in X11R6.x libraries
is not enough.  It is out-dated.  It compiles with MSVC 4.0 and older
versions.
It would require a major rewrite of Xfree86 code and as I said I would
not have enough time for this mega project.
