RE: Maintainers and cygwin-apps subscriptions

I'm maintaining two packages, and I know that one of the requirements is that I must be subscribed to cygwin-apps. However, the e-mail is easier to read if I use GMANE instead. Can I unsubscribe from cygwin-apps and still maintain the packages? I would still keep up with cygwin-apps, using GMANE instead of e-mail to do so.
AFAIK, if you're subscribed to cygwin-apps-allow you can post to cygwin-apps. How you want to read cygwin-apps is up to you. Until this bash vs. bashdb vs. bash-3 stuff came along, I watched cygwin-apps from Gmane as well - and my ronald@ account is a bit <blink>y on where it can mail..

IMO, the important thing is to keep up with cygwin-apps and cygwin proper in some way. How you do it is up to you.
