Re: CMake 2.0.5-1 ready
OK, I will make the changes for the next release. ( I will leave out
the setup.hint and not include the change log in the message.)
I would prefer if cmake-1.8.3 remained the previous version for cygwin if possible.
So, I would rather see this:
-rw-rw-r-- 1 cyguser cygwin 1307762 Aug 4 08:32 cmake-1.8.3-1-src.tar.bz2
-rw-rw-r-- 1 cyguser cygwin 1945225 Aug 4 08:32 cmake-1.8.3-1.tar.bz2
-rw-rw-r-- 1 cyguser cygwin 1313187 Oct 29 15:28 cmake-2.0.5-1-src.tar.bz2
-rw-rw-r-- 1 cyguser cygwin 1959985 Oct 29 15:28 cmake-2.0.5-1.tar.bz2
-rw-rw-r-- 1 cyguser cygwin 393 Aug 4 10:54 md5.sum
-rw-rw-r-- 1 cyguser cygwin 514 Oct 29 15:29 setup.hint
For each minor release, you can remove the previous minor release, but for
and the list minor release of the previous major release should be the previous version.
You can get the 1.8.3 files from here:
ftp://www.cmake.org/pub/cmake/cygwin/cmake-1.8.3-1.tar.bz2
ftp://www.cmake.org/pub/cmake/cygwin/cmake-1.8.3-1-src.tar.bz2
Basically, there is no reason for someone to need 2.0.3, but for compatibility reasons,
they may want 1.8.3.
Thanks.
