NEW: rpcgen-2.11.90_20100818-1

rpcgen is a tool that generates C code to implement an RPC protocol.
The input to rpcgen is a language similar to C known as RPC Language
(Remote Procedure Call Language). This package replaces a component
of the (soon-to-be-obsolete) sunrpc package; you should update sunrpc
to the 4.0-4 version if you have it installed.

This implementation of rpcgen is derived from the eglibc SVN.

Note that rpcgen requires /usr/bin/cpp -- but that program, the
C PreProcessor, may be supplied by either the gcc-core or the
gcc4-core package. Given this ambiguity, neither package is
explicitly required, and neither will be automatically installed.
It is up to the user to ensure that some version of gcc is
installed, if rpcgen is to operate correctly.

Also, note that due to a packaging error, 'rpcgen --version' will
report 'rpcgen (cygwin-special) 2.12.90' -- even though this release
claims to be version 2.11.90_20100818. This discrepancy will be
corrected in a future release.
